Transmedia

Not to overreach, but OPEN DOOR STUDIO also creates art through and for a variety of media including illustrated stories, children’s television shows and music. This media may live in multiple platforms (transmedia) from books to webisodes to DVDs to itunes to television broadcast. This sounds like a lot, but this is where the collaborative nature of OPEN DOOR STUDIO really kicks in. Elz and Schoon-Tanis bring a variety of skills, and fill in the gaps with able colleagues.

Among the more collaborative art forms are ones involving video. OPEN DOOR STUDIO creates and participates in video and musical storytelling in a wide variety of ways.

The primary focus of these productions is channeled through Enthusiastic Productions (founded by Schoon-Tanis). EP specializes in media that tells stories to help kids and their families grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and physically. The first, and best example of this is Come On Over!.
